Haven't posted anything in a long while. Basically, I'm mostly restricting what I post to either colored works or pencil works that took a very large amount of effort (usually with a background), neither of which have been produced with any frequency by me recently. If you want to see my scribbles, you can probably find them on one of the forums I'm around.

I have some stuff I'd complain about that's been keeping me from here but it's all old news. I got a kick in the art can again and so once again I'm finding myself thinking a lot harder about the way I draw. The result is that even random doodles are probably going to be scarce. In general, this trend works in the way that I keep trying to improve until I hit a wall, realize I'll never draw again if I don't start casually again, and forsake improvement for the sake of getting anything done.

Anyways, I know that all SOUNDS depressing, but the good news is that if I have success this time we may see a noted improvement in my art. The artist who initiated the volt that I'm juiced on now has some really sharp work, and so I want to stress if you're reading this: don't think I'm upset about anything. This is just me stressing myself out again. I know I'm not going to be doing art for a living, but I can't put aside my desire to improve when I see so many great artists around here doing amazing work. My current project is to attempt to learn about the differences in different body types (starting hopefully with differences between male and female, with any luck branching to variations and size appropriate to age). I've decided that trying to make it to posing without that is probably skipping a step.

So in conclusion, just because I'm not posting doesn't mean I'm not around. Wish me luck in my schoolwork and, once that gets comfortably under my belt, time for my art should come as a side effect.
